I was wondering what kind of branches you used for your raised beds.

Sounds good to me!

Hi Kathy, I use thick willow. I planted up a patch a few years ago, mainly as a windbreak, and every now and then I hack off some of the thicker branches and use it to edge the beds. But you can use any straight-ish wood.

Very sensible new leaf to turn! I can completely relate to the 'all or nothing' and beating oneself up when not achieving perfection. For me, also accepting that accepting less than 100% will be a life-long thing, has been useful (i.e. I will probably always tend to perfectionism, so need to gently remind myself to be more realistic in aims).
