Hope you had a lovely Christmas. I'm making our annual red cabbage bake today (Delia's recipe)- I didn't get around to it yesterday. It makes the whole house smell lovely and lasts us for ages.

I've been reading all year but don't often comment.

Hi Syrah Suzie, hope you had a great Christmas too! I make so much red cabbage over the Christmas period. I know Christmas has begun properly when I start cooking it. I make it at New Year too!

I've never tried Delia's recipe - I use a recipe handed down from my paternal grandmother which I don't think I have ever put on the blog. There's always been a bit of competition in the family who can cook it to taste just like granny's.
