I expect its a feeder but it does look as if you've put a scented candle in the hen coop, and maybe one day you will.

How many chickens do you have? Looks like a good chicken set-up?
I'm not good at mud weather. I'd rather have frozen ground or sunshine!!

Hi Jenny - I don't put anything near the chickens that can't be eaten by them! They will test and eat anything they can get their little beaks to.

Hi Karen - we have six chickens at the moment - only three are layers though. Two are too old and are enjoying their retirement, and the third is too young. But three eggs a day does us fine.
