Managed to get out for a couple of hours snuffling today around Towcester and came back happily laden down as per usual.
I absolutely adored these retro-style bowls the second I clapped eyes on them:
And bargain of bargains, I turned up these bakelite vintage chocolate easter egg molds at the tip of all places! I stuffed them in with a heap of Iain Banks books and some videos and ended up paying pennies for them. Don't have a clue how I'm going to clean them though. I want to use them next easter and surprise Martin, but all the traditional bakelite cleaners cannot be used near foodstuffs. I guess I'd better sent an email to either Period Living or Home and Antiques to see if one of their experts know.
